Glue In Class Activity

Overview

The Glue class activity is a quick exploration of various virtual workspaces and exploration of collaboration in VR

Setup

On Browser

1. You should've received an email from Glue with a download link to join a class (note because Glue only allows up to 10 people per team, I have split people arbitrary to cs1951t and 1951t-2)

2. Download Glue on your quest, you can follow the setup instructions here

3. Take a look at this tutorials page, at least look at the main 1 min video to look at the basic functionality 

On Oculus Headset 

1. Navigate to the Apps section in the Oculus Quest 2 menu.

2. Open the Glue app.

3. Sign in with the account you just created.

1. Take a few moments to explore what you can do in your main hub and the features available in Glue

2. Set up your avatar

3. Once you have done so, agree with your team members on which collaboration space you want to go to, the options are:

   1. Project Garden

   2. Clarity Island

   3. Lounge

   4. Southwark Tower

   5. Lake Cubic

   6. Mont Matiz

   7. Workshop

   8. Scrum Place

   9. Boardroom

4. Make sure you do not go to the same place as the other group

5. Try to have a meeting, and explore the space

Possible activities

5. 2. • Draw together on a whiteboard

      • Draw something using the 3D pen

      • Create some notes and share your thoughts

      • Take a picture with the camera

      • Use the laser pointer to explain some concept or point something out in the environment 

      • Try uploading a file in https://collab.glue.work/ and share it
