TOMOPY

Zachary Mor

Python Library for Computed Tomography

Description

Tomopy implements all necessary functions for tomographic reconstruction in Python. This is useful if you want to programmatically reconstruct a volume from a series of projections. Input data usually derives from penetrating waves (e.g. x-ray; more examples linked). The input can be represented as a tilt series (i.e. a series of images taken as the object of interest rotates) or a sinogram.

Here is an example of an x-ray tilt series taken of a liver.

The installation process will take up to 10 minutes. It depends on how many of the dependencies you have previously installed.
