ImageJ is public domain software for processing and analyzing scientific images, with many derivatives and variants, including ImageJ2, Fiji, and others. It benefits from opensource plugings to extend its capabilities for VR

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

ImageJ will run on any system that has a Java 8 (or later) runtime installed. This includes, but is not limited to:

Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8 with Java installed from java.com
Mac OS X 10.8 “Mountain Lion” or later with Java installed from java.com
Ubuntu Linux 12.04 LTS or later with OpenJDK 8 installed

Installation

Go to the following link and click on the Fiji icon.
The next page will should the avaible installers for different O.S. Select the one for your computer.

Install Scievew Plugin for VR mode

Sciview can be added to Fiij/ImageJ as a plugin. This allows to visualize datasets on VR.

After you install the plugin, restart Fiiji/ImageJ and go to plugings -> sciview . You might see an empty black window. If so, do click on Edit -> Add -> Box -> set size and color -> ok. You will the the perspective 3d scene .
