Purpose: The purpose of this class activity is to familiarize the class with the types of data you can expect to visualize in OpenSpace and learn how to use a new scientific visualization tool. At the end of this activity we will watch a video about Two Line Element data, the file format that generates the data you just observed! This will hopefully give the course an idea of how lines of data can be transformed into visualizations.
Instructions: Please make sure you have OpenSpace already installed on your machines. It is a large file and it will take a long time to install. Once we begin each participant will take a screenshot of their assigned space body below. First one to find all of their assignments wins! These images will be used for the updated Openspace wiki.
If you finish early, try visualizing satellites. Instructions available here: http://wiki.openspaceproject.com/docs/components/satellites.html
