AltSpace VR Activity

Set-up (10 minutes):

• • On the Oculus Quest, install AltSpace VR.

  • Within Altspace VR, set up an account and design an avatar. (If you don't have time, you can choose "guest" and still customize your avatar).

In class:

• Go to Menu --> Events on bottom toolbar.

• Click on Happening Now --> Go to Rachel's AltQuiz Party

Once in Space (10-15 mins):

• Spend time using different features, such as:

  • • Mic on/off

    • Emojis

    • Talking to other classmates

    • Personal Space Bubble

  • Click "Join Game" to join the game of trivia! NB: The game will start 15 seconds after the first person joins, so please wait until it seems everyone is in the space.

• Explore the different features on AltSpaceVR! This activity is short and is generally to get first impressions of AltSpaceVR.

After Activity (5 mins):
